Falcon Ridge Staircase & Railing

Carpeted stairs and a dated railing were updated with wood treads, dark risers and black wood balusters, giving the staircase a cleaner, more modern finish from the first step through the upper landing.

The biggest change came from simplifying the materials and creating stronger contrast. The carpeted stair surface was replaced with warm wood, while the dark risers and black balusters gave the staircase sharper definition against the surrounding light walls. The railing and landing details were finished together so the update feels consistent from both levels of the home.
