Bathroom Remodeling in San Antonio

Master baths, guest baths and tub to shower conversions, planned and built with care.

Bathroom remodeling by TEXAN Home Improvements

A bathroom that works for you, not against you

Most of the baths we remodel started as builder grade rooms that never quite worked: cramped showers, tired tubs, nowhere to put anything. We rebuild them around how the room is actually used, and we keep the site clean while we do it.

What's included

From layout and tile to fixtures and finishes, we coordinate the details that bring the room together.

  • Walk-in showers
  • Tub to shower conversions
  • Custom tile work
  • Vanities and counters
  • Storage and built-ins
  • Plumbing fixture upgrades
  • Flooring and lighting
  • Paint and trim

How it works

Five stages, agreed up front, so you always know what happens next.

See the full process
  1. 01

    The first walkthrough

We start at your home, taking photos and notes on the space and what you want out of it. Prefer to start online? Send photos and details through the booking form and we'll go from there.

  2. 02

    Your 3D design

Our designer builds a 3D model of your actual space, so you can see the room before a single thing is torn out.

  3. 03

    Selections and final price

At the second consultation, in your home, we walk the 3D design together and you choose every material: tile, countertops, fixtures and finishes. Once it's all chosen, you get one final price for the whole project.

  4. 04

    The build

Jay and Greg are on your project — not a rotating crew. We keep the site clean and keep you updated as the work happens.

  5. 05

    Final walkthrough

We walk every detail with you before we call it done. If something's not right, we make it right.

What affects the price

No two bathrooms cost the same. These are the choices that move the number most, so you can decide where to spend and where to save.

  • Shower or tub

Whether we are rebuilding what is there or converting one to the other.

  • Tile selection

The tile you choose and how much of the room it covers.

  • Vanity and storage

Vanity size, counter material and any built-in storage.

  • Plumbing changes

Anything that moves from where it sits today.

Bathroom remodeling FAQ

Straight answers to the questions homeowners ask most.

Our pricing is all-inclusive — materials and labor in one number, not a labor figure with material costs added later. We purchase the materials ourselves, so you are not sourcing tile, chasing deliveries or paying separate supplier invoices. You choose every finish; we handle getting it to the job.

Yes — our work carries a limited lifetime warranty. We also walk the finished space with you before the project is called done, so anything that isn't right gets put right there and then.

Usually, yes. The most common version is taking out a builder-grade tub or a cramped fiberglass stall and rebuilding the footprint as a full walk-in shower — there are several on this site. How far it can grow depends on what is behind the walls, which is what the first walkthrough is for.See the guest shower renovation

It's one of the most requested things we do, and it usually comes down to how the room is actually used. If nobody has taken a bath in years and the tub is eating the only usable space, converting it buys back the room. If it's the only tub in the house, that's worth weighing together — and we'll give you our honest read either way.See the tub-to-shower conversion

San Antonio water leaves its mark, so it's worth choosing around. Frameless glass shows spotting soonest and does best with a coated finish. Porcelain and quartz shrug off mineral deposits well; natural stone looks superb and likes resealing to stay that way. On fixtures, brushed finishes hide water marks far better than polished chrome. We build all of this into your selections from the start. Why we seal grout that already has sealer

That's usually the whole point. Recessed niches in the shower wall, a vanity sized to the space rather than to the old footprint, and built-ins where a wall cavity allows all buy back storage without taking floor space. Several of the baths on this site gained storage while the room stayed the same size.

Whether we're rebuilding what is there or converting a tub to a shower; the tile you choose and how much of the room it covers; vanity size, counter material and any built-in storage; and anything that moves from where it sits today — plumbing relocation is the one that moves the number most.

We set the schedule with you before work starts and tell you up front what could move it. If it's the only full bath in the house, that shapes how we sequence the work — it's one of the first things we look at during the walkthrough, so the plan fits how your household actually runs.

Replacing finishes in place generally doesn't. Moving plumbing, changing the layout or altering electrical generally does. We identify what your project needs during planning, before the build starts.
