New Braunfels Island Kitchen

The project
The story
The cabinets stayed cream and the perimeter stayed put; the center of the room changed completely — a new seating island with a light stone-look top, designed on paper before a single cabinet was ordered.
An island changes how a kitchen is used more than any surface swap can — it adds workspace, seating and storage in one move. This one was drawn up first: cabinet elevations and a 3D layout agreed with the homeowners, then built to match. The existing cream cabinets stayed, which kept the budget pointed at the piece of the room the family actually lives around.
