Stone Tile Shower

Stone Tile Shower — finished

The project

The story

A tub-and-curtain bath converted to a stone-tile walk-in shower with a sliding glass enclosure and brushed-nickel fittings.

A slider earns its place in a smaller bath — nothing swings, and nothing needs the clearance a hinged door demands. Stone tile brings texture that a flat gloss tile cannot, and brushed nickel was chosen for the same reason it keeps coming up here: our water is hard, and brushed finishes hide it.
