The story
The classic conversion done clean: tub and curtain out, low-entry tiled walk-in shower with grab bar and shelf in.
This is the most requested conversion we do, and the low entry is the part that matters most. A curb you step over is the thing that eventually makes a bathroom unusable; lowering it makes the room work for longer without making it look like a hospital. The grab bar is anchored into blocking behind the tile, not just into board, which is the difference between a fixture and an afterthought.
